Balance in your home promotes better health, wealth and relationships.
In Feng Shui, understanding the where the imbalance of Qi lies and then identifying the correct remedy required is fundamental to restoring this balance.
These pages will provide you with some general Feng Shui applications that you can easily apply in all living spaces to improve the flow of Qi and it’s affects on the occupants. For maximum effectiveness, these applications should be considered with the occupants Gua number. In addition, it is recommended that an assessment is performed by a Flying Star Practitioner.
General rules on remedies
Once a remedy has been identified, use the actual phase as a remedy. A picture of a candle does not substitute a fire remedy for example. You may find remedy agent for the actual phase you require here.
Proportion is important when considering which remedy to apply. Everything has energy and as a result everything has and emits a rate of vibration. This vibration needs to be proportionate to the size of the room and the degree my which Qi needs to be influenced.
Colours. Each phase has representative colours. It is not recommended that colour alone be used as a remedy but rather that is used in addition to the actual phase remedy selected. You may find information for a phase and it’s associated colours here.
Every room should promote a balance of Yin and Yan. A choice can be made to enhance certain type of Qi to promote creativity or wealth for the occupants. This should be done carefully to ensure conflicting phases and imbalances are kept in check. You may find more information in the conflicting phases here.
Natural light and clean airflow should be allowed in the rooms daily.
Make controlled changes. If you do decide to make changes in a given space it is better to make a small number of controlled changes. This will allow you to better assess the impact the changes have made to Qi. If too many changes are made and the affects are negative, it is harder to then ascertain the exact change contributing to the negative Qi.
Allow time for the change to be effective. Allow for Qi to re-establish it’s new flow before assessing the affect of a change made.
Reduce Clutter. This is general rule for all living spaces. Clutter reduces Qi’s ability to flow easily around a room.
